Sandtex Trade Flexible Primer Undercoat

Sandtex Flexible Primer Undercoat - is specially formulated for use with the Sandtex Trade Flexigloss and Eggshell X-tra finishing systems on

exterior joinery, this solvent borne, high performance flexible Primer Undercoat provides superior resistance to cracking and flaking than traditional individual primer and undercoat systems. The Flexi X-tra systems can also be used on suitably primed PVC-u.

Drying time - (Under normal drying conditions) touch dry 4-6 hours, recoatable after 16 hours.

Finish - Low to mid-sheen depending on surface porosity.

Spreading rate Up to15 m² per litre on smooth surfaces.

Limitations - Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8ºC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

COATING SYSTEM One or two full coats as required to previously painted surfaces. Maintain a wet edge. Finish

with Sandtex Trade Flexigloss X-tra or Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-tra as preferred.

Application - Stir well before use. Apply by brush to an even thickness (a good quality bristle or suitable designed synthetic brush gives best results). Maintain a wet edge. On timber lay off in the direction of the grain.

Cleaning - Return surplus material to container. Clean with a proprietary cleaner immediately after use.
