Rust-Oleum Pegakote

There is a 7 working day lead time on this product as it is mixed and dispatched at the  Rust-oleum factory 

Colours- there is a choice of 2 ready mixed colours, both are grey, Ral 7001 and Ral 7035. We can tint a large range of colours including Ral Classic. Ral Design, British Standard, NCS and Tor's own colour range, tinted colours once mixed canot be cancelled or returned

Rust-oleum Pegakote- is a two-pack, satin gloss epoxy floor paint for garages, warehouses, showrooms, corridors, indoor car parks, workshops etc.

Recommended Use- garages, warehouses, showrooms, corridors, indoor car parks, workshops, etc. Only for indoor works, as well for floors as for walls.

Surface Preperation- The substrate should be dry and clean, free from ascending humidity and sufficiently coherent (tensile strength min. 6 kg/cm²). Pegakote can be applied directly on most mineral substrates (f.i. old concrete, tiles, glass etc.). Curing compounds in case of poly-concrete have to be removed by means of sand or grit blasting. On newconcrete or non-porous concrete, remove cement grout by sand or grit blasting, treatment with diluted hydrochloric acid at a ratio of 3 l hydrochloric acid to 10 l water or with Surfa-Etch 108. For these two last solutions, there is obligation to rinse abundantly and to allowdrying through of the surfaces. Porous substrates shall be impregnated with Pegakote diluted with 10 to 20% volumewater. Pegakote may not be applied on an elastic paint coat or a moving substrate.

Application- Brush, Roller or  Airless spray

Brush- If necessary, dilute with water.

Roller- Dilute 1st coat with maximum 10% volumewater. Apply 2nd coat undiluted.

Airless Spray- Nozzle: 015 - 017 / Pressure: 220 bars. 1st coat: dilutewith 5 - 10% volumewater. 2nd coat: dilutewith max. 5% volumewater.

Theoretical Coverage- 6 sq mts per litre per coat
