Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Undercoat- is a water based undercoat ideal for interior and exterior wood and metal. Specially formulated to give all the application and appearance characteristics of traditional undercoat with the added advantage of being quick drying and low odour during application. Johnstone’s Aqua Undercoat should be used in conjunction with Johnstone’s Aqua Gloss to give the best possible finish.

Coverage- approximately 10–12 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted.

Application- stir well before use. Easy to apply by brush. Avoid overspreading. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or externally when rain is imminent. For best results use a good quality synthetic brush.

Drying Time- touch dry in 1-2 hours. Recoatable after 4-6 hours.

Please Note- tinted colours cannot be cancelled or returned once mixed.

However we are unable to accept returns of any paint where we have mixed the colour for you on our mixing machines. This is bespoke for the customer and we are unable to re-sell it.
