Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear (WB)

Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear- is a general purpose preserver that penetrates deep into the wood to protect against decay, mould and blue-staining fungi. It is a colourless finish that is suitable for interior and exterior use. This preserver can be used as a base coat to give extra protection before painting, staining, varnishing or oiling sound wood. It is a low VOC formula to make it more pleasant and convenient when applying. Please note: This product has replaced the old Solvent Based Product - Cuprinol Wood Preserver (BP)

Coverage: up to 5 sq m per litre

Drying time: 24 hrs

Application: Brush

Application details:

• Apply 2-3 uniform coats with a brush or dip for at least 3 minutes if practical
• Apply the second coat after the first has soaked in (2-6 Hours)
• The application of this product may cause darkening of some timbers
• Apply to any surfaces cut after treatment
• Where required, finishes (solvent-based or water-based paints, varnishes, woodstains and polishes, etc.) can be applied normally to treated wood after the preserver has dried (normally 16 hours for brush or 3 minute dip, but may be longer in cold weather).

Drying:

The drying time is 16 Hours. Drying times can vary depending on the nature of the surface and the weather conditions.
